Time Machine is not detecting Lacie Cloudbox via Wi-Fi

I've just installed a Lacie Cloudbox 4Tb at home.

I have 3 Macs: one iMac connected to the lan via cable. one Mac book pro and a Mac book Air both connected via wifi.

The iMac's Time Machine detects the Lacie as a backup unit. The Mac books don't. I connected the Pro to the cable and now it detects the unit for use with TimeMachine.

Lacie support says that this must be either a wifi configuration problem or a Mac configuration problem but not theirs.

Does anyone have the same problem? any idea what to configure?

Is the wi-fi on the LaCie drive turned on? If you hook the drive directly to the router does it show?

HI, the Lacie Cloudbox does not have wifi. It is plugged directly into the router.

Macs connected to the router with a cable work. Time machine detects the LaCie as a valid drive.

if, on the other hand, the macs are connected via wifi, then I can access the drive to store and retrieve files but time machine does not see the unit.
